I have already given a five star review for the consultation and plan of action. This review is post-procedure. My pet had eyelid adenomas that were growing and needed to be removed. This was laser surgery under sedation. I would honestly give more than 5 stars if I could. Dr. Armour suggested my Weimaraner, Micah, come in for one of the first time slots on the day of the procedure as he was highly nervous during the consultation. On the day I was again walked through the plan. Dr. Armour and her assistants could not have been more professional and kind. Upon request they allowed me into the room where he was given sedation so I could ease his anxiety as he went under, I was also there post-procedure as he came around. I was there as they gently lifted him onto the gurney and as he came off. They handled all 72 lbs of him with extreme care. This is where the more than 5 stars came in and is outside of the ophthalmology. I asked them if I could clip his nails while he was sedated. They had already done it, the best clip and pad cleanup he has ever had! I asked if I could put in ear drops while he was out. They did it! As a senior my pup has lots of lumps and bumps and fairly large sebaceous adenomas behind his ears and on his head. They asked me if during the procedure, would I like them removed. Yes please!! They sent all removed tissue to the lab to test, all good. They answered all my questions between consultation and procedure. I had concerns about giving eyedrops so they suggested the drops could be compounded into an ointment and liaised with the external lab for me. I thought the cost of the procedure was very fair considering the expertise, equipment, sedation, lab results and take home meds. I love this place, the breadth of services they offer and the love and respect they showed my pet.
